That sounds great i would love to live in the cold all the time! To bad humans have no effect on the weather and let alone the natural cycle of global warming.

There is a certain logic to what you're saying there. 50 years ago the atmosphere was terribly polluted as there was almost no control over emissions from factories, power stations, domestic chimneys etc. The result was that there was so much pollution that it blocked out sunlight and led to global dimming (cooling).
The downside was that millions of people died, at it's peak hundreds of people could die each day in a single city, this happened in London in 1952 and acted as the catalyst that forced the UK government to take action on pollution, something that was followed by other governments around the world.
As the atmosphere cleared of pollution the underlying warming trend re-emerged as the primary driver of climate change and continues as such to this day.
The differnce now from 50 years ago is that there are vastly increased amounts of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. I won't do the maths as it would take a long time but the levels of pollution we'd need to produce in order to cool the planet would exceed those of the mid 20th century.
There have been suggestions that we deliberately pollute the upper atmosphere with sulphur dioxide. One of the proponents of the ideal is Professor Paul Crutzen who advocates firing sulphur laden rockets into the stratasphere, the sulphur would be burned to produce sulphur dioxide, a gas whose molecules are 'reflective' and act like a mirror in reflecting solar radiation (sunlight) back into space. A similar scheme has been suggested using ground based rockets launched from military ships.
I can't say that I favour this idea, it's not something we can stop once we've started it, we have little control and the negative consequences could far outweight any benefits.

yes there has been global warming throughout the world.Human activities and other pollutants have become a major proportion and if there is global warming and if u would like to pollute the earth so that there is an ice age once again.so listen to my answer. if there is more and more global warming then the ice sheets at the poles would melt and soon our lands on which we live will sink in the mighty oceans.

Dude were in trouble big trouble. You can thank all those rich *** h*** who thought it's a good idea to pollute the air. Watch the Discovery Channel as much as you can. They said our Polar Bear is gonna be Extinct in 20 yrs. 600 million years age to now ( using ice) this has never ever happen before. The best thing you can do to save what ever become a straight A student. were in trouble big big trouble. spread the word! educate yourself. to save yourself and loved ones.

Man should reduce ANY efforts to alter climate, whether intentional or unintentional. If we reduce our negative impact on the planet, it will find a stable, NATURAL equilibrium all on its own. Polluting the Earth to try and change what may be a natural trend to begin with WILL create environmental problems requiring their own solutions.

I disagree, you want to bring on a ice age by polluting, who knows if it'll work. If it doesn't, then we'll end up with a dirty, smelly, ugly earth that we'll be stuck with. If it does work, we'll still be polluting, and we'll be the cause of the next great meltdown. And i guess people will be happy when the floods wash away everything and they'll have to live like cavemen.

In the same way that a baby whose diaper is in need of changing can solve his problem by pooping some more.
It isn't even remotely possible that any amount of pollution would cause an ice age. It isn't real likely there will ever be another ice age. Any excuse to pollute, eh?

There is no evidence that supports climate variability has anything to do with pollution.

this wouldn't work.
the main goal of global warming is to tax and get power.
no one wants to "solve" it.
