I bought mine from QVC. They are the Cook's Essential brand and I love them. They hard anodized on the outside, nonstick on the inside. They have metal handles so they can go into the stove up to 500 degrees. Item #K5852 on www. qvc.com

Ultrex hands down. I used to make fun of this product because they started on Home Shopping network. I'm in my 50's and tried there deep fry 1st. Loved it. Next a friend in there 60's said they had the pots and pans so I tried them. Love them and would think of buying any other kind. They are designed for commercial use and are cheaper in cost than anything I saw out in retail (quality specking). I think they sell on another network that they started. Check your listings.

Cast Iron. It will last forever. I have a frying pan my great grandmother used. I don't know how old she would be, but my mom is 87, so she has to be up there in age somewhere where ever she is now.

I am partial to Tramontina 18/10 stainless steel cookware. Copper incapsulated bottoms for even heating/cooking at lower temps. Glass and/or stainless lids. Many people complain that stainless sticks. This is true if you don't know how to use it. Professional chefs would not put up with sticking. They have a website.
