How much should i charge to watch babysit a active little 2 yr old boy for 8 hours a day mon-fri??

It depends on the area where you live really. I know for my area back home its a dollar less then where I am at now. I would say anywhere between $8-11 an hour should do.

It depends on the state in my state it is around $15-$25 a day which is $75-$125 a week. I do believe that if the child is not picked up by six at night then you can charge $6 an hour.

I would check out the local daycare centers and see what they are charging. If the parent went with a home sitter maybe they felt daycare was too much... I have charged between $5-$8 when babysitting, and my sitter charges me $5 when I need her.

i babysit a newborn and a 3 year old for 9 hours a day for 5 days a week for $300 each week...granted it is prob supposed to be a little more than that...like $400

Well depending on who you're watching the kid for. If the person is only making about $10.00 an hour than it wouldn't be convenient to charge her $8-$10...I would say somewhere around $100.00 ..............daycare centers only charge about $75.00 per child full time

It depends. There is a small day care in my town. It is run by a local church. They have a wonderful program. I think they charge $125.00 a week. Check your area for day care for their charges. That should give you a good idea. Also you should talk to the babies Mom. She may be expecting to pay less. She may also just think her child is better off with you and will be willing to pay more. I live in Nebraska (rural area) and the cost of a babysitter is about $2.25 an hour. But if you go to bigger cities they could pay you up to $10.00 an hour. It really all depends on your location.

$150 - $200 a week if you have CPR and first aid training. $100-$125 if you don't

my daycare charges $330 a week for my 18 month old and I live in Chicago.
