A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving
each other the silent treatment.
Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife
to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he
wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM ."
He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the
man woke up,
only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight.
Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him,
when he noticed a
piece of paper by the bed.
The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM . Wake up."

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, and then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

Ha, ha...this is a good one. Everyone needs to think about this one if we are ever involved in the silent treatment, either giving or receiving for what ever reason.
She did as she was asked, so he can't be upset...right?

That's pretty good I would have suspected her to make a bunch of non-verbal noises - like grabbing a wooden spoon and a pot and banging them together. Reminds me of me!
