hes into antomotive and hes 18...umm he has almost everything id buy him so what are some good ideas?? he like loves harry potter and he like smallville he has all the seasons already ummm well lets see he likes to play billards(pool) and he works all day and everyday except sunday what could i do and what could i get him to make it special???

buy him some of that really fancy lingerie that you have been wanting, and offer to model it for him on top of his car, or pool table. I would rather have you do that than get a harry rotter book or a new pool cue.

do you have a job? If not then give him a card and a cupcake. Anything else would be inappropriate.
If you have a job then some small remembrance under $20 would be ok. Make it special by adding some cute word you use between yourselves. At that age he will probably throw it away anyway.

Saturday night or Sunday evening you could play pool. Call all of his friends before hand and have them all meet you there as a surprise.

Get him a subscription to a car magazine, take him to dinner and a movie and get him like a h.p. video game or a car video game with the wheel and pedal accessory ($50)

Get him a picture frame in the shape of a car, and put a picture of you two in it. There are tons of cute picture frames at framing stores, craft stores, etc. Perhaps get him a model car kit from a craft store, he might enjoy that (it's a plus if he has a favorite car and you know what it is).

i agree with sophieb. if you are not working a card would be nice. he should appreciate that alot better than money or dinner if you can't cook. Or if he want to hang out with his friends for the day let him have his time with him.

serve diner to him for desert find some small hub caps somehow attach them to your self and and so a strip tease and then strip him of his clothes and then take his c.
he will never forget it.

if you guys are into that you could by your self some expensive underwear and surprise him so he will be very pleased( we are into that) and its even a gift you can keep
