how many rakaat in jumma namaz?

Hi , how many rakaat are there in jumma namaz? Also i wanted to ask when people read namaz, after they read one rakaat, they do salaam and then read the second rakaat. is this wrong? arent you meant to do salaam only when finishing the last rakaat? thanks

by salaam i mean saying 'aslaam alaikum warahmatullah'.

Four. You should only salaam when finishing the last rakaat.
