Granola bars, fresh fruit salad, pretzels, applesauce cups, string cheese, cheese and crackers, 100% fruit fruit rolls or fruit snacks. Hope this helps! Some bagel places have mini bagels and those are good too!

kids love the string cheese with some sliced apples. Apples are in season ,So they are perfect and cheese is a great source of protein to help balance the sugars in the apples so the little children may have a level amount of energy for the day, meaning no energy surges. I would cut up little hand size wedges on a platter and scissor open the string cheeses length wise and lay them out on another platter, just before you go to the school so apples wont turn brown and cheese wont dry out and ,walla you have a perfect snack

Ants on a log.
Buy two bunches of celery, some cream cheese, some smooth peanut butter, and some raisins.
Clean and trim the celery, then cut into six- or eight-inch pieces. You need at least 22, but more is okay.
Spread about half with peanut butter and half with cream cheese. Press a half-dozen raisins into the filling.
Voila! Ants on a log, and two flavor options, catering to tastes and allergies.

If your daughter's school is like my daughter's then you can't bring anything homemade because of risk of poisoning. (it sucks but I can understand it). If you have a Sam's or Costco card, then you can go by the individual snack sizes of Ritz cracker, animal crackers, Teddy Grahms, etc....They make great snacks. Wal Mart has them too but the bulk stores have a better selection. (not to mention the bigger sizes)

Get some peanuts, mnms, raisins, marshmallows, pretzels, cashews, etc and put each item in a different bowl or container or whatever. Each kid gets a baggie, and he can go down the line and take what he wants in his baggie. You can even put numbers next to each bowl to show that you can take up to 1 scoop of mnms, up to 2 scoops of peanuts, or however you want to do it. THen they close the baggie, shake it up, and now they've made thier own snack just like they like it! Also good with counting skills.
I do this with my Brownie troop a lot.

Here are some of the things I thought of bringing like rice crispy treats, boxed juice 100%, fruit snacks, apple and caramel dip, carrots and ranch dip, cinnamon grahm crackers. There are sooo many to think of just use your healthy imagination. good luck!
