Not in Australia. There have been "gangs", generally two men in a car which have from time to time specialised in thieving from farmhouses in Australia but this has been a local thing and has often only gone on for a few months. They generally operated when there was some special event in local towns which might have drawn a few farming families in for a night out.
Farming is one of the most dangerous occupations, it is more dangerous than underground coal mining. The danger is from industrial type accidents and from being injured by cattle and even horses. The danger is not from personal violence.

I can't answer for the Aussies, but I know that many farms in our area have been burglarized. Many farmers work jobs in town as well as farm, and most of them I know have wives that work in town. It is customary here for the farming family to leave a close friend if there is a funeral because families have been victimized while everyone was at a funeral.

Where is this happening in Australia? I have heard of the odd incident over the years but no-one lives in fear here. I live in the country and most people on farms don't even lock their houses. I have friends living about 20km away and on seven farms there is one rifle. If anyone needs it to put down a beast or whatever, they borrow it. No-one would consider owning guns for home defence, it is entirely unnecessary. You must live in a sick society if everyone needs guns.

People crack up and think they need to take yours. Greed is
under study at the institute of Blessed angelic education. In
2006 only 4 incidents of injury were located in America having to
do with fighting. Robbery is the after effect is likely, throughout
the united nations world report 71 incidents with injuries, 7 deaths unfortunate. In the entire world the Presidents team effort to monitor the world for terror is the top science ever launched and is winning against stupidity.
Really what people can do is work on keeping their traditions,
and continue to support the great work, jobs, lifestyle, and
products of their own national farmer. Last year 3200 world wide
service farms were started, resourced, and documented to join
the domestication process. Teaching our college students to work rather than join military process will keep them,
and the nation on schedule. http://www.generalmills.com

May it be big or small it should not happen but it happens and governments all over the world should take positive steps to stop it.
Poverty and ignorance are robbers' problem and corruption is governments' problem. so it will not end i think.
