Cucumbers, tomatoes and mineral water with gas.
Breakfast: salad made from cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce. Start with a glass of mineral water with gas, then salad. Medium sized banana.
Lunch: the same salad. A peach or an apple. A handful of raisins or any other dry fruit (no sugar covered dry fruit!)
Dinner: salad, two large baked potatoes, two peaches. The next day substitute potatoes by a piece of boiled chicken, then the next day potatoes again.
If you want something sweet, eat raisin, dry apples, dry apricots.
If feel suddenly hungry, eat a large apple, a large orange or a pear.
Drink a glass of water with gas before every meal.
Do it for a week. Then go back to what you eat normally, cutting off all the bread, buns, cookies, pizza, cakes, everything made of dough in short. No soft drinks.
If needed, you may repeat the salad week. If not, just avoid things made from dough and you will stay the same weight.

Good for you. First go see a doctor for a check up so you know all about your starting point. Be sure to tell him what you want to do. He may have some generic suggestions like exercise, eat plenty of fiber and stay away from too much red meat. Get with an exercise gym where u can get a trainer to show you what to do. The idea of a getting a nutritionist is a really good one. Someone can help your deal plan meals that meet your needs with foods you can enjoy. Then get after it. Your attitude is important. Remember you're changing your life. Your want this to be permanent so your attitude has to match your dedication. Good Luck.

Try www.weightwatchers.com. You make the choices, you learn what's healthy, you have huge varieties of food you can eat, nothing's off limits, everything in moderation.

You sound like you're conflicted. On the one hand, you just want to be told what to do, and on the other you don't want to feel limited. Weightwatchers will help a lot.
