World War Two in general? Axis Forces vs. Allied Forces or individual nations?
What kind of Weapons ; Small arms like pistols, Rifles and Bayonets? Crew served direct fire machines and light cannons? Mortars and Artillery? Combat aviation like fighters and light bombers? Heavy Bombers? Tanks and Armored Cars? Naval vessels?

Quaint institution called the Library, in the History section, has lots of things called books, made of paper, packed full of pictures and writing!

watch the history channel... in particular look for a show called "Role Call", its done by some old dude that show various weapons from past wars and how they operated.
