It should be available at any store which sells computer software. Normally you can not purchase MS Word alone. It is included as one of the programs in MS Office.

If you are a student, check with your school office. MS often makes Office available to students for a fraction of the cost of purchasing it in the stores. Also many large companies which use Word in their offices will have an agreement with MS where they can get copies for their employees cheap (my company offers it for $25). It is so you can work on stuff for the company at home.
