I'm assuming you don't live in the uk as all medical treament is free here. surely there is something you can do or somewhere you can go for help for free. I'm sorry i don't have any advice for you other than you should get to A&E asap as that doesn't sound good there should not be bllod in your stools.

Have a good look at the British Liver Trust site.
I have auto immune liver disease called PBC, and found lots of info on there.
Your doc, whether UK or otherwise, sounds like a waste of space. You don't need to be a specialist to treat the damn disease.
I assume you are not in the UK? Hell, what an ordeal you must be going thru.
If you have a diagnosis you must have seen a specialist for that, or did you just get a blood test?
Please look at the BLT site, and I hope you find the answers you need.
God bless you.

Only your doctor can give you the answers you need but I do know that hep c left untreated can lead to liver disease and eventually liver cancer. If you don't want to wait demand to be seen sooner.

Attached is a link to an informative site.

Hep C is NOT cancer although 1% of cases lead to liver cancer.
