This number is WAY overdone and I would advise against using it. Do a little homework and find a really cool Cole Porter or George Gershwin or Cy Coleman number

Try singing the first verse, the bridge, and the ending, and cutting out the second verse (the one about the river). The purpose of an audition is to show off your vocal range, and if you sing two verses that are exactly alike in melody, you won't get to show them as much as if you change it up a bit with the bridge and the powerful ending. Good luck- er, break a leg!

frequently casting administrators dont prefer to hearken to you sing a music from the section your testing for because of the fact approximately seventy 5% of the others testing for the section will do a similar element and a similar music. Sing some thing comparable yet not particularily from Eponine does that make sense? you prefer to stand out and not be in comparison to the others who would be making a music a similar music. besides the shown fact that, you nonetheless want them to work out you taking part in the section, so possibly try those songs somethings are meant to be from little woman astonoshing from Brooklyn

To be honest i know lots of judges hate this song because it is very overdone- try finding something in your range-very important that shows off your best qualities-something not a lot of people have heard before- then they judge on your voice and not whther they like that particular song or not good luck!

since the song ends in a big way, i would find a spot of the song that you could start at towards the end and build towards it. you've only got 2 minutes, like you said, so sell it!

break a leg!

the end is powerful especially in terms of voice control. i would start from the part about the river ( 2nd stanza after 1st chorus i tink)
goodluck!
