one is a food:
CHIMMY CHONGAS

1 bottle mild chili sauce

12 med. flour tortillas

In a large skillet add all the chimmy ingredients except cheese and tortillas. Cook until the beef is browned and is crumbed. Place the cooked beef mixture inside of each of the tortillas and sprinkle with cheese. Roll up each tortilla with the ends tucked in. Deep fat fry each of the tortillas until brown and crispy. Remove and place a little garnish on top of each.
GARNISH:

Tomatoes, diced
Lettuce, shredded
Black olives, chopped

Place lettuce on plate and put garnished chimmy on top. Makes 12 Chimmy's.
Good luck,

The spelling is "chimichanga." It's the Spanish equivalent of "thingamabob" or "whatchamacallit."
As food, it's a deep-fried burrito (a normal burrito that's been fried in oil).

As they said already chimichanga is a deep fried burrito. Betsy D, you're wrong, it's never been used as "thingamajig" or "thingamabob", in fact is usually a childish euphemism for penis, similar to the British using the word "willy"

They are basically a deep fried burrito. They are generally just stuffed with meat, cheese and sauce and the veggies and sour cream and stuff are on top. They are really good, but really fatty!
