There will always be few things unexplained... just like thunder and lightning were unexplained in the past and churches said it was god, up in the clouds.
But now we know better.
Using "god did it" for unexplained is the most pathetic excuse for not thinking rationally.

Not only can science explain just about everything, but Universal Truth eliminated religion from Spirituality...
so that leaves the religious nutcases to go into hiding, secretly plotting a revolution against the Spiritual community and science too! (I think they have already started, according to the responses from the religious believers in the R & S section).
All we can do is hope the religious believers wake up out of their religious dream(s) and DO this:
Create Your Relationship with Our Creator
and have UnConditional Love and Peace in Your Life.

Science can explain a lot about how things work in an already existing natural world. Science will never be able to explain the origin of the universe because that was a supernatural, not a natural, event, and the supernatural lies totally outside the purview of science.

I really don't think science will ever be able to explain everything, but in case it does, brace yourself for . . .
Lots of over-the-top low-budget Italian-made movies starring a bunch of washed up "international" stars, headlined (of course) by Armand Assante, Ricardo Montalban and Racquel Welch (still!) It will take the cue from various "Hercules" flicks from the 1950s/1960s made by (guess what!) Italians directing an ensemble cast of washed-up international actors on a shoestring budget. Since religion will now be free-for-all myths, it could be tweaked with accordingly, a-la Hercules.
Brace yourself for:
"Jesus versus the Moon Men!"
"Moses Around the World in 80 Days!"
"A Very Merry Muhammad Christmas!"
"Krishna Versus the Satan Cow!"
"Rabbi Rabbit versus Marvin the Martian."
And so forth and so on . . .

Just like happens now, instead of explaining how God makes things work, most scientists will say they discovered how the universe works and attribute it to natural phenomena. Besides, I'd wager that by the time science could explain EVERYTHING, either Jesus will have come back or we'll have regressed into another dark ages.

People like you crack me up. You believe a book written ten minutes ago by some author, but the Bible has to be false, even though it was written over a period of history, and it confirms itself over and over. Seems odd for a book just put together in the last thousand years, but you are right, let's believe what some professor just wrote, surely he knows best.
First, science is theories, just like the Bible. I say theories, because no one knows until they die. Second, everything in the Bible that I know of can be explained next to Science. Like things are old for example, the Bible shows that the world was created to be old, and not new.
Anyway, when will science stop focusing on trying to disprove the Bible and focus on curing cancer, or say the common cold. You can't do that, but let's focus on someone believing there is a God? The whole argument is funny, just live your life the way you feel is right, and stop pushing stuff down people's throat. That goes for religion and atheist.

there is science in religion..
Many professor like u do a research on a "1400 years old book" and amazingly they find something about today's newly found..
here it is: Al-Alaq
Proclaim! (or Read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created― (1) Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: (2) Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful― (3) He Who taught (the use of) the Pen― (4) Taught man that which he knew not. (5) Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, (6) In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient.

You let me know when science has reached the point of explaining everything, then I'll tell you how we'll react.
The fact is that neither science nor spirituality can explain everything.
Try both.

There will always be something that the religous will say god did it. But you can see it happening already. There many more people now that have no faith in religion because more things can be explained scientifically.
