Absolutely Not
Lidocane causes swelling
and bleeding. Do not use
anything with oil. Just follow
your aftercare instructions.
If you have doubts call your artist.

First-give it a day. I would not suggest using materials of the like. If your in pain take a 200-400 mg. Ib. Don't risk having to get it touched up sooner than what you want it to..

IF you are concerned, use a moist cold cloth-and apply it. Do not rub or smear at it. After it is cooled, for the first 72 hours afterwards use an anitbactieral/ A/D ointment ONLY for that time period. Once a scab starts to form switch to a light application of Vitamin D enriched handlotion with NON vasoline in it.

When in the sun-wear sunscreen! GOD I hate resaying all that!

Neosporin is the best to use. My fiance is a tattoo addict. He has some very large ones. He washes the tattoo (within 24 hours after it's done and for the first full week after) with Dial soap, as it's hypoallergenic and antibacterial (we keep a big bottle of it for tattoos only, lol).

Once you have washed it off, pat dry with a clean towel and gently spread any type of Neosporin gel ointment onto the tattoo and let it air dry. Try to keep any clothing off of it for the first day or two so you don't irritate the area.

Have fun with your new tattoo!

No, only use what your tattoo artist recommends. A tattoo is an open wound. Lidocaine is a pain killer and shouldn't be sprayed directly into a new wound. The pain really isn't that bad. Just apply ointment or lotion and you'll be fine. The pain or irritation will wear off soon.

my artist says not to use aloe vera on tattoos. i told him i was going to spray some on mine to aide in healing and he said not to so you probably shouldn't.

wrap an ice pack in a towel and apply it to the new tattoo and that should help with some of the pain and swelling if there is any.

Aloe vera is a natural astringent and can draw ink out of a fresh tattoo. Stick with neosporin, A&D, or Lubriderm lotion

use you should use neosporin triple antibiotic, keep a thin coat on for a couple weeks. gl! oh and you shouldn't experience much pain after the tattoo is done or there maybe an adverse reaction to the ink so if that is the case go to a doctor and get it looked at.
