Hiya, Ive heard that toast is really nice and easy to make, but its too hard. Ive got a toaster and some sliced bread but i dont know what to do with it. Ive plugged the toaster in and bought a loaf of bread, but i dont know how to make it go brown. Please help, im starving.

The booklet that came with the toaster gives you specific instructions on where the lever is.

Put the bread in the slots on the top of the toster. Push the lever on the romt of the toaster down. When the bread pops up, automatically, it should be toasted. If it isn't brown, you may have to experiment with the settings on the front, usually a little knob. Oh yeah, be careful, the toast is hot when it pops up and don't stick your fingers or a fork into the slots to get toast out.

1. Put one slice of bread in each slot.
2. Turn "darkness" knob to desired number -- you might want to start by trying like a number 3 -- the higher the number the darker your toast will be -- it is almost certain to burn on the top 2 or 3 numbers.
3. Press the lever down and wait for the toast to pop up.

I love toast and i hope you suceed in making it.
I would rather grill the toast for myself. Turn up the gas mark on the grill and then place your bread slices on the grill.
Then just leave for 2 minutes and flip the bread.
Works a treat.

take two slices of bread out of the package.
put one slice in each slot of the toaster. I use the middle setting for best results.
good luck. toast is really good with jam and butter. But use the tub butter for easy spreading and a butter knife, not serated knife.

Mabey you should just eat the bread with out toasting it! I think that this is WAY TO HARD to explain to you.

There is a dial which shows you from light to dark. Put it in the middle and let it toast. It pops up when done.
