Look at the media and games they have. Is big business that greedy that they need to make bucks off the kids in the future to the detriment of their mental stability to desire to take care of themselves avoiding danger, or is society preparing for a day when you can't hurt yourself?

subliminal; existing or operating below the threshold of consciousness; being or employing stimuli insufficiently intense to produce a discrete sensation but often being or designed to be intense enough to influence the mental processes or the behavior of the individual
If one is desensitized, I would say that is also subliminal, wouldn't you?

Great observation!
I thought it was because the more of our children that kill themselves doing those stupid things (like in 'Jackass 1&2) the less the government will have to shell out in Social Security in the future!
I can understand today's youth feeling as if there is no future and trying to stuff as much life into as short a time as possible.
We need to teach them to try to hang in here for the long haul.
Our youth are the future. And it's a very evil force that is trying to kill the future of humanity.
When you take the depletion of the natural resources calulate the amount of people using the dwendling resources against the super rich who seem to control those resources (by force) you come up with the conclusion that there are seven or eight billion too many people on this planet!
Babyboomers are dropping like flies, some from natural causes, others from the affects of some of that bad medication going around.(What hidden price does a seinor male pay for the "privledge" of being able to produce a woody while on Viagra?)
But we aren't killing ourselves fast enough so we get wars and thrills, for those who won't join the military.(Remember "no child left behind."? He was not kidding.
May heaven give us strenth to stand up against the evil that is murdering good people .

I'd have to disagree with 'death defying'. I'm thinking it's more along the lines of 'death seeking'.
Everywhere I turn, all I see is more and more encouragement for children to engage in risky behavior. X-Games comes on, first words I hear, "That's cool!" I change the channel. Not because I don't like the skill and athleticism of the competitors, but because I don't want my children emulating them.
MTV Scars is probably one of the most egregious examples of this trend. Now, if you get horribly mangled, and get it on film, you can get on TV.
I don't think the efforts are subliminal at all.

1. It's not subliminal.
2. Much of society has become desensitized. They need every thing to be "extreme" in order to get the same response. One example is "extreme" flavors in foods, such as painfully sour candy, intensely spicy hot wings, etc. It's similar to a drug addict, they need a bigger and bigger fix each time.

Sure, but it is a good thing. We have made life so safe that natural selection is no longer at work and morons pass their dna on to the next generation. Convincing those dumb enough to off themselves to actually do so strengthens the gene pool.
Just think of your retarded childeren as the compost on which the Ubermench will grow.

I don't think it is being put before them subliminally, they are hit over the head with it. I teach high school, it is almost every kids dream to get a video up on you tube that draws a lot of hits. Often this means them doing something stupid and dangerous.

Just one small bit of the many, many delusions rampant in the world today. Like so many, this one is fueled by greed and ego. "look at the media?" OK, I have. They are greedy, profit-mongering businesses who will print or broadcast anything to make a buck. They take no responsibility for their impact upon society. It is up to each of us, as individuals, to walk away from sick and harmful behaviors -- including our addiction to violent, train-wreck media.

Its up to parents to teach their kids that whats on TV isnt always right, real or the smart thing to do. If someones kid kills themself from imitating a stunt they saw on Jackass, thats on them. Dont blame the TV.

You have 2 books, 2 kingdoms and 2 spirits and the devil is stealing, killing and destroying our children.
If you know spiritual warfare, use it. You have people channeling spirits to attack their enemies. You need the full armor of God.
