I asked if the Muslim god allowed you to keep slaves.
I got a 5211 word response.
And guess what...I'm still no wiser...
Can anyone beat that?

Of course this is no different to any long cut and paste from any faith/non-faith, but this is the longest reply I've received.
That's my PC quota for the day. Watch out religionists...

Wow. I really don't know why people do that. I don't believe for a minute that anyone reads answers that long.

Goodness gracious!
I suppose I could try to beat it, but then I'd have to throw myself off a building in despair at the amount of time I spend on Y!A instead of on my life in the real world.

i don't mind long answers, and i usually read them...except cut and paste. if i wanted the encyclopedia version i would have looked it up myself. i'm quite capable of doing so.
to me the whole point of asking questions is to get another point of view...a different way of looking at something.
if people are trying to get others to understand what they're trying to say cut and paste is definitely not the way to do it.
bright blessings to you

Hmmm ... looks like a cut and paste job from the link. Why don't people just post the link and their own comments on it?

Why does it matter? Generally people probe like that in order to 'beat' Islam... well... Christianity has the same problems (Christian Bible also talks about slavery like its "all cool")

Muslims are very fond of copying and pasting without thinking, or insulting you in return or answering the question. I probably think some answers are longer

I've seen "Lion of Judah" copy and paste dozens of answers that are longer than that!

I usually thumbs-down long answers so that I don't have to scroll forever to get to the other ones.....
To me, it's quite rude to answer somebody with way too much information.
