I saw that on ESPN news last night, I can't believe it. After all the success the Chevrolet teams are having this year, and Toyota sucking, why in the world would they go to a jap made car? I don't understand it and there was always a prideful feeling about the american made cars winning and Toyota not winning.
I guess they went from the Heart Beat of American to the heart beat of Japan. This sucks.

I guess Stewart has no plans to win a championship in the next few years. Even IF, and that is a big IF, Toyota can get it together and start getting 90% of all their cars to qualify, they still need to win. And not just 1 or 2 races in a season..... they need to start winning and posting Top 5 and Top 10's every race. And that isn't going to happen overnight.

All of my Tony Stewart fans are in mourning, they are more pissed off than I am with Jr not getting the 8....Maybe Tony, Denny, Kyle can give Toyota some fire, since none of the drivers that are in toy cars now can't do anything right.. I hope some how Smoke stays in a chevy somewhere...

Yep I'm a Stewart fan and it absolutely makes me sick that he will be driving a Toyota. I don't know if I can root for him anymore...I just can't bring myself rooting for a Toyota.
The reason they did it was money. Toyota ain't even making races so they needed a premier team to get Toyota looking good and they will probably have at least some success with Joe Gibbs; especially since they are moving strictly to COT next year. But still. Toyota. Gross.
I'm going to have to find a new driver to root fot. Any suggestions?

Sadly its probably true. Toyota has done nothing and I don't know why Gibbs would throw away all the success so he can lose with a fatter wallet.
I don't care if some Toyota's are made here. Its still a Japanese car. GM, Ford, and somewhat Chrysler are American companies and hey guess what they still make more cars here than Toyota. Toyota's quality is the one that's dropped not GM and Ford. They have been much improved. In fact Buick actually has the most reliable car after 3 years.

Officially next week they will say.
I'm looking forward to seeing a Top Toyota team that isn't a bottom 35 or worse team. Toyota can now get into the Winner's Circle easier now in Cup.
In March, when I go to the race, I might get a JGR flag for my Tacoma.
