What is considered excessive drinking and what is little as recommended by someone?

no there is no harm, unless you drink excessivly and dilute the sodium levels in your body too much. but you would have to drink beyond actual thrist.

it is a myth that it dilutes the acid in your stomach thus causing indigestion, unless you drink a ton of it, a glass with dinner doesnt' cause problems for most people. your body has tons of acid making ability, besides the digestion is done by the enzymes not the acid, the enzymes work in a acidic enviroment. and if your eating foods too especially protein that will stimulate more acid production.

actually, it's a good way to lose weight if you need to... but if you're not eating enuff because your tummy is full of water, that's not so good.... drinking a glass of water at a meal is okay, as long as you can still finish the meal....that's why water is served at restaurants!....
