Wasn't as big of a deal in college, because you knew you were just dating. Would I get serious with a smoker? No way! It is a disgusting habit, and one that I can't tolerate! I don't want to live with a smoker for the rest of my life! Also, my Dad was smoker, and died of lung cancer, so I have some real serious issues with smokers...

That is one thing that I just cant deal with is someone who smokes. It is just a turn off for me. Usually that is one of the first questions I ask a man does he smoke cause I cant deal with it. I just cant stand the smell of smoke it makes me sick. So to answer the question no I would not date anyone who smokes

I sort of started smoking just last year....dunno why.... after being a non-smoker all my life and this when a smoking ban is in full swing!
Im not yet hooked and just smoke for the sake of it... cant figure me out?! must be the being told what I cant do syndrome.
I often wonder if guys think...er..no!... cos of the ciggies

It's odd, but since I stopped smoking I've begun to realise how much I used to stink! You don't notice it when you're a smoker. The smell of cigarette smoke now makes me feel sick, so yeah I would have a problem with it.

i don't smoke and i tried a couple times dating men who smoked and it just doesn't work out. even if they smoke on my balcony, everything still smells and it's like kissing an ashtray.

yeah.. i think its very hard for non smokers to date smokers....i know this sounds bad...but this is an honest answer...if i met a guy smoking i would probably judge him....like my first impressions of him....i hate the smell of cigarettes...so i would never even go there.....maybe im cutting off alot of nice men...but i am anti smoking...he can give himself cancer...but me? no thanks.

I am dating a guy who smokes. I don't like it, but he only does it outside and he doesn't do it in restaurants, etc.
It's pretty icky, tho. I complain to him that his breath smells and I am hoping he'll quit like he said he will. :)
