In my opinion, for whatever reason, the best real jobs are those in forensics. The highest paying right now is paleoforensics. The jobs that aren't jobs that are the highest paying with the best benefits in the world are to become a state senator. You get a yearly salary that is way over the limit that you need, not counting perks from special interests, plus all of your medical, dental and vision for free. When you retire, even if you are only in office for six years and decide to retire at the end of your term you get something like $67,500.00 per year plus you still get all of your medical benefits. No other 'job' gives you this peace of mind. Of course you have to learn to lie to everyone, your wife, friends, neighbors, the people who elected you, everyone. In my opinion.

The best job is doing something that makes you feel good and will support your way of life. Every job has it's ups and downs but the feeling of accomplishment, of worth, of contentment that you know what you are doing is what really counts. Many people tolerate misery for big paychecks, many others comprimise their way of life for money, and many other do what they can as they feel they have no options.
What I like about my profession may mean nothing to you. Just remember you can try many things, you do not have to make the absolute correct choice on your first or any try.

Fly with your dreams
Soar with your dreams- Well, that’s what I have to say to all those brimming talents who are forced to pursue what their parents want them to do rather than what their heart says when it comes to setting one’s aspirations pertaining to profession in sight.
Let’s have a look at the various vocations students yearn to pursue and the reasons to pursue for it. And also the various hurdles and stumbling blocks they ought to leap over.
Engineering, Architecture designing:
The question to ask about this field wont be who’s going here, who isn’t would be a much better question to ask. Every second student’s (or I would rather say their parent’s) dream is to become a successful engineer (my reasoning fails me when I look for the reason). Well, the craze of going to an IIT will surely be dampened after the inevitable quota is implemented.
Pathology (in simple language being a doctor):
As the wheel of time has turned this line of work has gradually become less and less popular. You will seldom find a brilliant student today who’ll crave to be a doctor.
Reason-No promising pay, and of course continuous bickering by parents about the difficulties faced by those who muster the courage to choose this as their profession. Anyway, I consider this as the noblest profession and admire those who choose it.
Being an actor, model…. (The showbiz):
To tell you the truth, though many people may not accept it, but they secretly pine to pursue a career in this realm. A very preposterous dream in my view, but even then true talent is decorated with laurels and unmatched glory. The prospect of being the next SRK possesses a bounty of attractions for many.
Journalism, Writing books…… (The for arena for all those who have a knack for writing)
Hmm…..This is truly one discipline which fascinates me and I feel is really worth pursuing. Writing books or newspaper articles for a living is something which can prove to be a fairytale of life which one craves for.
Artistic creativity, Fashion Designing, Sketching, Cartooning etcetera:
Well, these are the fields meant for all those creative geniuses out there. Carving a niche for them self in these spheres has been the reverie of many a natty intellectual. Considering the competitive levels in these fields only true and genuine talent is appreciated and the rest is left to rot. So just don’t dive head along without stopping to think for a moment.
I have illustrated above what I think about careers in various spheres. No occupation is reproachful or crap. One must choose the profession with which one is content and place ones self satisfaction before giving in to any kind of pressure from parents, peers……... Every vocation has its own splendour and grandeur. On this note I would conclude by saying let your dreams fly!
