about 4 minutes ago, i get some froot loops and i couldnt even walk to the retarded living becuase the dogs just went nuts around my legs, like they couldnt get to the food any faster, (ones a stupid beagle) so this beagle jumps and gets in front of me shaking and taunting me like "what are ya gonna do what are ya gonna do!!!!!!!!!" so i decide to pour some and they spread all over the place on the floor, and that stupid dog just goes at the speed of lightning, it doenst have to take a second for the cereal to enter her mouth, her mouth is like a vaccume, and when it gets her mouth she looks at me like "okay next!!" and whats worse is that she desnt even bother to ENJOY it, she just swallows it whole, then i had to stand there and watch my other dog choke and hack up for like 10 seconds all becuase she couldnt slow down. dogs are like sooo hungry!! if i was a dog and they act like that around food, i would be totally embarassed!! it just doesnt make any sense for a dog to act like that

My Min Pin is just the same. When I go into the kitchen, he follows, when I walk out with food he's at my heels. When we eat dinner, he sneaks in and hovers under the table hoping a crumb will fall. We fuss at him and tell him to go lay down & he will, but when you're not watching, he's back under the table. He's so sneaky & mischievous. It's annoying & funny at the same time. That dog is NEVER full. He must dream of food every waking moment. When it's time to feed him (he eats morning & night) he jumps up and down, as high as my chin. It's SO funny. Boing! Boing! Boing! My Yorkie is the opposite. Nothing helps with the Min Pin though. Sometimes we will just put him in the bedroom when we have dinner. He was just born this way. And as annoying as it is, it's part of his charm. Ya just got to love them as they are. But try to ONLY feed them at their dog food bowls. If not, then they'll really become annoying. Dont share tv snacks when watching a movie & things like that. If you do, then you're letting them know that if they hover around you, you'll eventually give in & give them a taste.

Understand that there is a reason that the other name for a Beagle is "CHOW HOUND"
Also anytime you place food out with more than one dog around, the race is on. That is only to be expected, and why there are proper ways to be feeding dogs.
Separate the dogs when feeding.
Only feed them from a food dish.
If they eat to fast place a big rock in the center of the food dish so that they have to eat around it.
A little common sense goes a long ways.

You know, our four dogs each act EXACTLY that same way when they see my husband with food. Any kind of food. Cereal, a sandwich, a cookie, potato chips. . . . whatever. They've been trained NOT to do this, and they don't do it to anybody else in the house. They sit quietly or go on about their business.
But when HE has food, they know that he is going to throw them scraps. Even though he's been told 10,000 times NOT to do it, he still does.
It's all in the training . . . of the people - and the dogs.

These are untrained dogs. They should learn that to get anything, they must do something. "NILIF" nothing in life is free. It's a great way to train your dogs, easy and you can apply it for everything. If they want to go outside, they must sit. If they want food, they must sit and stay until you tell them they can eat. They will still be vacuum cleaners lol but it will be orderly. Also, if you are eating, you should do it in front of them before they are fed so they know that you are the alpha in the pack. Everytime it's time to feed them, make them sit and stay, put their food down and they can not move until you tell them to. This will put food in perspective for them. When they want to jump, use the sit command and pet them. Lots of love and treats and patience and they'll learn to understand whose boss and thank you for it. The leader of the pack always tells wild dogs what to do and they have to listen. You are the leader.
And you'll love your dogs even more when they are well behaved.

This is natural since they have rivalry on food. In nature they have a serious struggle to find food and they must eat it at once before another one comes and eat all the precious food. This is instinct so if you were a dog you would do the same thing without any embarrassment.
This is why people train their dogs not to do these kind of things.

OK-- Dogs require no training to eat food.. Gobble Gobble and it is gone. Dogs eat that way cause they are not cats... Dogs just love food just like people.... I think my dog is so funny--laugh at him all the time.... Yesterday we went to a movie and while we were gone our Joel had a picnic and was nosing thru the trash can... We spent the next 15 minutes laughing ---gave Joel some treats and picked up the trash...

Your dogs are acting this way because you are re-enforcing their behavior by giving them what they want. They don't care that you're annoyed, they care that you get tired and give in. Sounds like you don't have any patience with your pets, your didain for them is very obvious. Pets are totally dependent on us, take time to love and enjoy them. Stop giving in, be kind but firm, and they will learn that you mean business. DON'T use negative actions, this could turn them off food all together.
Don't mean to preach, but they shouldn't have "people" food anyway. My dogs get raw carrots and apples for special treats, my vet applauds this, and they think it is candy.
Good luck.

this is very normal! I guess they know our food taste so much better than theres and they Will do what ever it takes to get it even if its in the trash! as I tell my dog all the time ( I don't go after your food why go after mine) I know how stupid to ask a dog but It just slips out! anyway the way I have taught my puppy to stop is when ever I eat or my Family eats I tell him to go lay down in another room, Its going to take allot of time and Patience, dumping the cereal on the floor is just rewarding them for bad behavior, you just gave them what they wanted! now everytime you even get up to go anywhere your dogs are going to go nuts thinking you are going to feed them again! first off dont give them any of your food its not good for them teach them to be in another room while eating or even feed them while you are eating. just remember its not going to happen over night, just keep on it and dont stray from the routeen after a while they will start to respond only then do they get a treat.

Since you don't seem to like your dog find a home for the dog. Someone who will actually give the dog love an affection.

most dogs are like that unless they've been trained not to be. we have a puppy that does that (she's not old enough for training yet). she gets crated when we eat. we don't give into her puppy dog eyes.
sounds like you're a little unappreciative of your animals though. maybe you should give them to someone that doesn't call them "stupid"
