neither the Bible nor the Harry Potter books are bad. The Bible is a large book, and can be gradually taught to children as they grow old enough to understand the more adult passages. Harry Potter is just a fun fantasy, the main message isn't believe in magic, its take care of your friends and do what's right.
Furthermore, the sex, incest, animal sacrifice, etc. in the Bible is less disturbing than the huge amounts of violence in it. Why do people object so much to sexual references that teach proper behavior versus improper behavior, when impersonal careless desensitizing violence plastered everywhere is teaching our kids that murder is acceptable, and no one is there to say it isn't?

Really, there's sex, incest and animal sacrifice in Harry Potter! Wow, no wonder it's so popular.

Hey, who says that those aren't in Harry Potter books (I admit, though, I do read in quite a bit).

How could it be Holy Book that reads such a porno language.

Would you read it to your Children and explain them what it says.

the bible is irrational, I would hope that if there is a god that he is not irrational. It seems to me that noble beings would act nobily and being irrational doesn't fit the bill.

"Would you read it to your Children and explain them what it says."

If I was a believer sure..........."well johnny.....this verse is basically saying she loved c*ck and her boyfriends had balls so big they could c*m in a cement mixer."

...You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free.

Any parent with half a brain and one-eye open knows how to teach their child about Scripture ("If") they are a believer...

If not... then yes... the Book will scare the "hell" out of them.

(and little Harry is just a fantasy boy with mind of demons; entertainment fodder for the drones of lore)
