What's funny is that the people who believe this don't even know or understand what it is to be "born again."

They think being born again means reciting a "sinner's prayer" and being "saved" IMMEDIATELY, never to be held accountable for their sins again.

Just imagine the jaws that would drop if they were told that being born again actually means being baptized, and that water baptism is what brings you into the body of Christ!

Everyone does go to hell...when you die..thats the place to be. I will go to hell and I'm a christian....Oh my doodie doodness...what am I talking about???Yeah..if were to die tomorrow or this instant...I would go to hell and I believe in Jesus Christ, The Bible, The God of my Salvation, the 10 commandments and etc. All of it....I'm born again by baptism of water. I continue to read the Bible and study it and pray everday in hopes to recieve baptism by the Holy Spirit in the fullest. However, when I die...I will still go to hell. Every single person on the face of the planet that dies...goes to hell. Why...cuz hell simply means that place where no one exists. Its the state of being dead...not having the Spirit of Life in your members anymore. When you die...you are dead, you have no little disembodied spirit floating around lookin' at stuff, twistin' in the wind, waiting for something to happen. Hell, as it is meant to be read in the Bible comes from the Hebrew word "sheol" which means grave, death...or literally to be covered over...forgotten, in the great abyss of nothingness. Very few will bypass this phase. However, the few who are still living when Christ returns will be caught up together with Him, if they are His while the rest...all of us are raised to life once again. Some of us will be raised to eternal life, those will rise first, while the rest will be raised to the second death as each person is judged. If your name is not written in the Book of Life, then you will be destroyed along with this earth and all the wicked, evil, vile, putrid, anti-god matter that exists now. So, no...I don't believe I won't ever die...I just have the hope of the Resurrection and eternal life through the Blood of Christ. Love in Christ, ~J~

First of all, the Bible teaches that none is good(Romans 3). Oh, man is capable of much good, but man is a sinner by nature and by choice. The Bible, which is God's Word, has a different standard for good than we do. The Bible teaches that good is a synonym for perfect which only God is perfect.
Suppose you had a very serious illness, and you went to the doctor and asked him to treat it. Then suppose he gave you a prescription that would cure your illness—but you refused to take it. Who would be to blame if you failed to get better—the doctor, or you? I think you know the answer.

In the same way, the whole human race has a very serious spiritual "illness." It is a disease of our souls that the Bible calls sin. It is so serious, in fact, that it has put us on the road to eternal separation from God—which is what the Bible calls hell.

But listen: God loves us—and because He loves us, He has provided the remedy for our spiritual disease. The remedy is Jesus Christ, who took the punishment we deserve when He died on the cross for us. This is why the Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Yes—salvation is a free gift!

But what if we refuse it? What if we fail to accept the remedy God has provided? Who, then, is to blame if we continue on the road away from God? The answer is clear: We are. In other words, God doesn't send us to hell; we send ourselves. Don't gamble with your soul, but by faith accept Christ so you can know—beyond doubt—that you will go to be with Him in heaven forever.

Well according to the scripture we are all pretty much going to burn in hell. For two reasons, the first being that "gluttony" is a 'Deadly Sin" and pretty much the entire planet is consumer based, aside from the few Quaker towns. And the second "Worshiping false gods" which leads to the phenomenon of "celebrity" which if you aren't guilty of the first, most likely you are guilty of the second.

Jesus emphatically states that no one - no one - can come to the Father except through Him. He says that only the Son knows the Father. He says that He Himself is the only way to the Father.

It says clearly in the book of John that the wrath of God rests on all those who reject the Son.

There are soooo many scriptures that declare that, yes, only those who trust and believe in the Lord God Jehovah and accept the sacrifice of His son, Jesus, will have eternal life.

god bless

"Born agains" donot know the essence of "born again".

Born again is getting over the Gross level of wordily existence within same life. Ancients Sufis and saints used this term.

Hell and Heaven r "marketing stunts" of some religions to attract people. "Sin" and "Hell" r only to scare people.

The one who scare people does more harm to himself than any other.

Jesus said "Very few shall see the kingdom of God"

Did Jesus know more and more people would reject his word in the end of days?

According to skeptics. Atheism is on the rise. So was Jesus right, again?

only the ones that do not do what they are told to do. The Bible says few people will make it to heaven, not just one.

I think everyone's going to hell, face it we've all sinned. You can't say "Oh, I never lied to anyone" Because you did. Don't deny it. That's sinning. Not that I honestly give a flying whoop because I know I'm going to hell because of my lifestyle and because of what god considers wrong. Oh well. I'll take what I get.
