I can recommend a documentary that actually tries to answer that very question "The God Who Wasn't There" Basically the scripture is all word-of-mouth and was written some 300 years after it happened. Good film though.

To understand that Jesus was the way for mankind to redeem themselves, that is those who understand that to live forever requires a active role of service to God, also realize that as a young boy and growing up Jesus would need protection from all the haters of God and would require refuge until his earthly assignment was ready or due.
Therefore God would cause his early life to be shielded to the eyes of those haters and the world in general.
Of the first years of Jesus’ life nothing is known except that “the young child continued growing and getting strong, being filled with wisdom, and God’s favor continued upon him.” (Lu 2:40) In course of time the family grew as four sons and some daughters were born to Joseph and Mary. (Mt 13:54-56) So, Mary’s “firstborn” son (Lu 2:7) did not grow up as an only child. This doubtless explains why his parents could begin a return journey from Jerusalem without realizing for a while that Jesus, their oldest child, was missing from the group. This occasion, with Jesus’ visit (as a 12-year-old) to the temple, where he engaged in a discussion with the Jewish teachers that left them amazed, is the only incident of his early life recounted in some detail. Jesus’ reply to his worried parents when they located him there shows that Jesus knew the miraculous nature of his birth and realized his Messianic future. (Lu 2:41-52) Reasonably, his mother and his adoptive father had passed on to him the information obtained through the angelic visitations as well as through the prophecies of Simeon and Anna, spoken when the first trip was made to Jerusalem 40 days after Jesus’ birth.—Mt 1:20-25; 2:13, 14, 19-21; Lu 1:26-38; 2:8-38.

The Bible tells us of His birth...age 2 when the wise men came to his home (they were not there when He was born) again at 12 and then nothing until He was 30. He was living His life as a normal Jewish child/adult following the customs of the Law. I don't think He really knew His full destiny until He was taken into the wilderness for 40 days after His baptism where He went before the Father in prayers and fasting to receive revelation and strength. His ministry lasted for 3 years He was crucified at age 33 and arose to life again at 33...WE HAVE A LIVING SAVIOR!

The entire life of Jesus has been recorded, but his teenage years were left out by the church. We do know that jesus used his powers to gain control of the masses as a young boy.

What happened between the times you mentioned isn't mentioned in any bible, since most of that time he was in the temple preaching to the Pharses and scribes. He also was working with his father Joseph as a carpenter alongside him. He was very obienent to his father during this time.

It was mentioned in the Lost Scrolls that he used to work at McDonald's to support his family (Which consisted of his long lost lover Steve)* from 9 am to 5 Pm everyday then at night he would turn water into wine and get Drunk, have a hang over the next day then do it all again. During the weekends he would build homes for the homeless like a good little boy even tho he couldn't hide the fact that he was a total Party animal!
A few years later Steve left Jesus so he married some random chick that he knocked up and had a son named Jeebus who laid eggs like a chicken (Thus, easter was born).
So he kept knocking her up. The next time he had a Girl (The tooth fairy) and a Fat hairy son named, Harry (Santa Claus).
So like he messed up so badly that he commanded the people who wrote the bible to leave those parts out.
Oh Jesus, you never stop amazing us!
Alright well, thanks for reading my story, I'm apparently drunk out of my mind at this moment. No more Wine coolers for me. x_x No but really, I think he was a typical teen who messed up like all of us.
Remember kids, no one's perfect.**

Admit it, your parents gave up making home videos of your life after age two as well. How can you blame Jesus' parents? Sure, he may have been the savior of prophesies, but he was still a squalling brat.
