Um no, saying that you want to marry someone isnt a binding contract. And what do you want to do FORCE him to marry her?? Where is the love?

No, the boy will not be punished. The girl should have married and then offered to have sex with him, this way the law is on her side. U cannot appeal to the law after illicit love and sex.

I am sure you are hurt by his act, he betrayed you, he manipulated you for sexual favours, and you in turn trusted him, It s going to be very hard for you to develop trust in others. First of all you have to be happy that he did not do this to you after you married him, and his behavior says this is his life style, if he did it ot you he will be doing to others, the question is what is the kind of action you want to take, you may be angry right now, but is your action to bring him back to you under law? If you did it are you going to be happy? Will this relationship work? If you want to prevent him from doing this to others perhaps you can lodge a complain for sexual harrassment. But you will have to speak up, Will you be ready. Talk to a lawyer and find the exact law under which he can be penilized. and one more request...have a HIV test done. Unsafe sex is dangerous. Who knows where else he had been for sex.

I think its illegal in India.
There was a case basically where this girl and guy were living together. When they separated the girl sued him saying that she lived with him and made love to him because he promised marriage. She won the case and something happened. I think the judge said something like- promising to marry, having sex and not marrying will then amount to rape and 420- fraud.

And vice versa is legal. You cant claim to be raped or claim maintenence if she falsely promised u marriage and lured u for sex.

ya, u can register an FIR against him. But to prove that he had sex with that girl DNA test and some other test should be performed. but i dont think our law accepts the lab test evidence. Its hard time. But u can register a compliant and get the boy. Rest the police (Woman Division) will take care of.

there may not be a legal remedy. but. the boy has given a promise and the girl has proceeded further based on it. at a later date if the promise is broken, the incidents that happened after the promise takes a different view which is not digestable to the girl. her mind will become bitter. if she had taken the promise heartfully, she may take vengence, and may try to commit suicide or may cut his penis.
