I just can't get this out of my mind. Since a couple of days ago, I started to think about a girl who's 13 years younger than me.
I find myself daydreaming during classes (I am a college student) and dreaming about her. This morning, I woke up dreaming about her. It's not sexual. But she's so charming. When she hugs me (she's only 9 and hugs me for greeting) I feel so good, and I would prefer her touch than any other girls in my school. I cannot keep my eyes off young girls when I meet them, they are just so cute, innocent and pure...
I now worry that I may be a horrible pedophile, though I try to resist the thought. But IT IS TRUE that I prefer prepubescent girls to adult, my age girls. Am I a pedophile or at least would be?

Dan, if you are serious about this, you could very well be a pedophile..this is not normal to lust after a child like this, and it is a criminal act, to say the least..now it not about you, it is about the child who'se life you could destroy..if you are serious, and not being sarcastic, get yourself into some intense therapy right now .and pray to God through Jesus, to take these evil thoughts out of your mind...you are a grown man, and to even be thinking these thoughts, is evil beyond belief. I just pray that you haven't done anything yet...please, you are confusing the cuteness and innocence of a young child, to kindness that you apparently aren't getting from women,,this is sick and you need to get help a.s.a.p. From what you have explained, it does sound like you might be a pedophile.
I want to start by telling that I admire the fact that you realise that being atracted to prepubescent girls isn't right. By knowing this you can seek help without harming any young girls.
There are a couple of things you must do now...
1. go to a doctor and get yourself refered to a psyciatrist or psycologist. They will be able to help you talk you through your problem and maybe even pescribe you with a drug to subpress your sexual feelings towards young girls.
2. Tell your mother or a friend or somone else in your family, so that they know not to leave you alone with young girls.
3. Avoid the 9 year old girl. And avoid all other temptation. Please prevent acting on your thoughts this can only be done by not putting yourself in temptation.
I thank you for addressing your problem, promise me you will seek help. It will stop you from getting into trouble and it will save any young girls who would have been your victims.

You may want to seek some help about this before it becomes something more. I wouldn't say you are a full-blown pedophile since you're not having any sexual thoughts, but you have pedophilic (sp) tendencies, and you should nip it in the bud before it evolves into something nasty.

all you people that just jump to conclusions and reject this dood may actually pose a negative threat, not to this dood but rather the situation as a whole. ya know sometimes telling someone he's lost will actually GET HIM LOST. it's called the power of suggestion.
when i see this, i don't see monster, but rather someone whose torn into two by your own demons and fear of your lack of strength to do what is necessary to win over yourself. EVERYONE has demons, yours just so happends to have the worst case scenario of the most of us.
i know this sounds harsh but say your goodbyes and just DIG. run away, leave, don't answer her messages, don't tell her any "why's" just dig. say like "hey, ya know i'm not doing so well in school, and i need to get through this, so i'm not gonna be around anymore, i'm sorry." NO GOODBYE HUGS, force your strength into one handshake. insist on it. no hugs. HANDSHAKES. make it the last.
if you can't cure the cold, AVOID it. even if that means being cold.
don't say to yourself "i am lost. there is no hope."
say to yourself, "i refuse to give in."
from here on out, never put yourself in a situation where you can possibly be at risk. avoid them like if you were to avoid drugs. man i hope you don't do drugs, that just throws my analogy out the window. in my case, i WAS addicted but am always tempted by World of Warcraft. i am WoW free for a year (thank you thank you) because i avoid it like the plague.
an alternative is also to get a girlfriend, one from your school ofcourse. the reasoning behind this is to provide an alternative. in my case that alternative was swimming. an alternative, especially one that requires commitment, is good because it's like competition. getting a girlfriend offers a release and gives you more good. the more you have the more you have to lose. the less likely you will want to lose the good.

Well right now you are thinking about it only and I hope to God you don't act on it. Get HELP NOW pedophiles are everywhere and they should all be killed so get HELP before you do something stupid and end up someones ***** in prison becuz that's where you are headed

see a therapist before u act on your feelings.
try going out with girls your age it may help and get u re-interested. go to a strip club!

Well first let me applaud you for being concerned and asking about it. You should probably explore this issue with a therapist. As other people have pointed out, do not act on it. BTW thinking about her is not a crime, however any action taken on your part would be. Good luck.

well the thing is a therapist will tell you that having these thoughts or fantasies are fine, as long as you know where to draw the line. you are not a pedophile until you would act on this. having the thoughts isnt a crime, but acting on them would be. i would highly recommend keeping this to yourself, and certainly never acting on it in any way shape or form.

Wow...after reading your question...I just wanna vommit.
Why is that? I'm the youngest of 11 children in my family. Our own brother molested me and my sister when I was 4, she was 6 at the time. I remember it very clearly and he ruined my life.
He's been in jail most of my life too for molestation. He's a pig!!! I wouldn't even care if he died.
