Illegal aliens should all be treated with the same respect that all citizens and legal immgirants are treated with.
Illegal aliens should be punished exactly how the US law says is the punishment for violation of immigration law - that punishment is deportation, and forfeiture of all their property, including cars, homes, furniture, big screen tvs, tools etc....

All illegal aliens leave a paper trail, you may think they don't but they do. They enroll kids in school, go in to emergency rooms for medical care, they sign rental reciepts and lease agreements, they apply for and carry matricular cards (thank you Mexico for documenting the criminals for us), they take out loans, they do a whole lot of little things every day which leaves a paper trail.
It is no problem finding the ones who get in trouble with the law, they are in jail.

As to those who think illegal aliens cannot possible be all deported. That is ridiculous.

First cut off all freebie, give away programs to illegals, including HUD, WIC etc.....
Cut off all jobs, put them out of work. Shut down all day labor pick up sites and arrest any illegal alien who stands on a street corner or freeway entrance for soliciting.
Report all illegal aliens who try to get any kind of aid, welfare, social services, medical care, or enroll their children in school.
Punish landlords who rent to them under the harboring law. a felony.
Punish all employers who hire them.
Do not allow them on public transportation under the transporting an illegal alien law. another felony.

No ITINs for illegal aliens, follow the paper trail to get any illegals who have them.
Use the matricular cards to track as many of those down you can get.
Run a national check on all social security numbers, any illegal aliens using them are committing felonies.
Deport all illegal aliens who are in jails and prisons, and all who are stopped by police for any reason.

Make it hard for them to live here illegally, no job, can't get social services, no transportation, no place to live, no medical care etc.... Millions of illegal aliens will leave if we make it hard enough, by enforcing the laws as they should be enforced.

Any others, no problem. ICE can simultaneously arrest in 50 states every day. 200 a day is low, that is 200 a day from 50 states, that makes 10,000 a day in custody for deportation, 365 days in a year makes 3,650.000 gone in one year.
See how easy that is?

With millions leaving on their own dime because they can't function here illegally, and one year deporting 3,650,000, more will leave because they do not want to get caught.
It wouldn't take more than a couple of years to get them all out.

The problem is keeping them out, we need border security.
Once they are all gone, every single last one, then and only then do we even think about bringing anyone in here for work. And that is only after every American citizen who wants a job or needs a jobs is given a job.

It will take a commitment by the legislature to pass laws that puts anyone aiding, employing or assisting in any way illegals. It will only work if it includes heave prison terms and it must include both the CEO of the company and the person who was responsible for verifying citizenship. It needs to include not only employment but also hospital and doctor services, schools both public and private, landlords, and all social programs. Let's put about 500 people in prison for YEARS and the rest will take the hint and start seriously verifying citizenship. Within a year there wouldn't be an illegals in the country.

Most important is to give judges carte-blanche to solve individual cases by granting immediate parole and deporting undesireables on an equitable basis.
Enforce court-orders - deport when they say to deport. Simplify the law - throw the INA out and write a new one with the word "reasonable" in every paragraph to allow immigration officers some leeway.
Issue a forge-resistant social security card - require it for all employment.
Clear the backlog - grant parole to everyone now and process their cases one by one until they are gone.
Speed processing - no one should wait more than 6 months for a visa or residence card.
Establish a point system - people should know up-front whether they qualify for residence.
Establish a reasonable guest-worker program - to let employers hire the people they need.
Enforce employer sanctions - to raise the cost of non-compliance.

Illegal immigrants should be put into a military reserve for two years and made to earn their citizenship. It would assist on keeping crime rate down and would assist in constructing roads and housing if implicated correctly. These persons need to be educated and Americanized and this would be the best way to do it.

In the US, it will take a committment from the President and Congress to stop illegal immigration. They don't seem to be willing to do it. I wonder why.
