I passed both theory and the main test first time, then I just went out driving (Just for the hell of it) Plus it gets you experence for when you actually have to go someplace.

Tests are so much harder nowadays, people who passed there tests 25 years ago dont relise how hard a test is in the 2000's I passed over 4 years ago and it still wasent the easyest thing to do then now its getting even harder.

my partner was the first person i told when i got home well after my driving intructor. i passed the second time but i was ill the first time i took my test it was to late to cancel as i'd have lost my money so thought i may as well give it ago despite having had a migrane from hell, i failed miserable but wasn't helped by the fact that the examiner had a very strong irish accent and muttered i couldn't understand a word he said. i passed the second time though but picked up 2 minors and i've no idea where i went for my first drive.

Congratulations, but please remember that you still have much to learn.
From observation, I believe that these days people are taught to pass the Test, but they are not taught to drive.
The first person I would have told would have been one of my parents. Probably my Mum as dad would have been at work.
I passed first time.
I passed my Test in the morning. In the afternoon my employer (part time job as I was still at school) asked me to drive her car on a "mission" to the other side of town. Her daughter decided she wanted to come with me. The overall journey was less than 5 miles, but I assure you that it wasn't the easiest journey I've made.

Incidentally, my licence will be 40 years old in November and it's still clean. And I mean "clean" rather than "wiped". Allow me a little pride in that.

And I challenge you to equal or better that.

Happy Driving.

congratulations you, its the best feeling in the world, passing your driving test. i did mine when i was 17, thats 16 years ago now, i had to add that twice cos it felt far too long ago. i passed first time after about a dozen lessons, and i still remember the feeling as clear as day.

well done again!!!

i honestly believe that i am a prodigy at driving though i hate driving. driving was never hard for me and i never really had to "learn" just a couple traffic rules that i needed to be clarified. i passed my test the first time and well i drove home so thatll technically be my first place i drove to. but to be realistic, my first "real" place i drove Legally to was to big bear.

I passed my test nearly 32 years ago. I barely remember it. But I do remember I only took it once.
