I'm kind of confused with your question.

You could say "I'm engaged" or "I'm practically married" if you want to.

You can call yourself married if you want to, my fiance and I do that now and then, and our friends say "you are already married, you are just making it legal on your wedding day".

So, whatever floats your boat.

If you like considering yourself married, well practically, then you could say that. "I'm practically married!" Otherwise, I personally would stick with "I'm engaged" or "I'm about to be married". But either way you want to do it is fine. As far as calling the public to your wedding....like inviting them? By no means are you obligated to invite anyone to your wedding that you don't want there to spend that special day with you. You can have a big traditional wedding without the public and it will still be amazing. Good luck & have fun with the planning. :)

Umm, yea, i would say that you need to get married to call yourself Married. However, some people that live together for so long consider themselves married although it's not legal through the courts. If you like being engaged and not married yet, then just extend your engagement until you're ready to make that commitment.

I am so confused by your question.

A wedding is the one day event that joins you in marriage.

A marriage is the day to day state of being married.

An engagement is the period of time between the proposal and the wedding.

I have no idea what you mean by "call the public".
