Get him his own litter box, and don't let your other cats use it.
Keep your eye on him and periodically put him in his box when you think he might need to go, and if possible, confine him to an area by himself, with his food and water and litter box. (and toys)
If you catch him going somewhere other than the box, immediately say, NO! then put him in his box.
He should soon learn where he is suppose to do his thing!
Good luck!

where did you get the kitten from? sometimes if the kitten never used one it takes many tries to get it to work. if the kitten is used to going outside, or you find it uses the dirt from plants, set up a litter pan with a similar litter type, or you may need to just use dirt. first you need to get the kitten used to using the box, then slowly switch it to a different kind of litter. the kitten will need its own box, the smell of the older cats may also be scaring him away. are the other cats friendly, do they seem to treat him well, if yes, then showing the kitten the other cats while they are using the litter box, may help teach the kitten. good luck

Make sure there isn't another soft surface lying around, that will confuse the kitty. Especially ones with a soft texture that the kitten would link it to that of dirt. Try and also place it in a discreet area. Also, after mealtimes, place the kitten in the litter box and see if nature takes it's course. Your kitten would feel nervous in a new household and it would take your ktten time to adjust. Also try several brands of cat litter to see which one your kitten preferes.

put a box just for him in the place where you find him going. move it gradually to the same location as the other boxes. The new rule of thumb is to have 1 more box available than you have cats.

Maybe it is the smell or type of litter, try changing brands. SOME cats hate scented litters.

He is too young to be taken away from his mother and needs to be 13 weeks old before being rehomed by which time he will have become litter trained. Take him back to his mother and leave him there until he is fully vaccinated and is able to safely be separated from her.

Keep him in a small area -- give him his own clean litterbox and keep putting him in there after you feed him. If he continues to go elsewhere -- observe where he goes and put the litterbox there.....train him now! before he gets too old....
