So, I've decided to get a tattoo on my private parts & wanted some advice on where & how to maintain it. First, I wanna tell you up front: I'm aware how painful it will likely be (I have a tat, which already hurt & know this will be a lot more painful). I don't think it'll be slutty because a sl*t is a girl who sleeps around & I don't, regardless of where my tats are (and I don't plan to show it to a lot of peeps). Also, I don't think I'll regret it as with aging there'll be a lot worse things to complain about than a (albeit wilting) flower. So, please don't give me opinions about those things. My question is about hair: Is it a good idea to get it in an area where hair grows? I thought about getting it above it, but there's less room there. Will waxing/shaving/plucking (Yes, I've been known to pluck) make my tattoo fade faster? Is it a good idea to wax beforehand or could that hamper ink-absorption? Any experienced peeps have any thoughts? I'd really appreciate it.

That spot for a tattoo is so hot. My ex got his chin tattooed with some tribal and a guys chin hair grows just a fast and thick as we do down there. He said it was so painful! He has A LOT of tattoos and he said that one hurt the most. It was hard to heal because of the hair growing so he had to get it redone, so you might have to get it touched up too. Best if you wax it 2 days prior to the tattoo so you wont have to worry about the hair growing, but just check with the artist first and see what he says. Good luck ♥
BTW, it shouldn't fade any faster, remember, the tattoo ink is entered into the deep layers of skin. My ex got his chin done like 5 years ago and he always shaves his face and hasn't faded yet...

Honestly waxing before you go in would be better - you want to try to avoid the hair growingn back fast - wax no less than 24 hours before the tattoo is given. If you have never waxed that area before then do it once and then once again before you get the tattoo to make sure you will not have a reaction (irration) from the wax etc.

DO NOT PLUCK ever if you get the tat there - shaving and waxing would be fine - waxing could lighten the tattoo.

the more Air and Petroleum Jelly you use will make the healing time faster - you must keep the area dry from moisture this can cause an aweful infection.

Good Luck and Happy Tatting.

i don' t think u should wax it might make your skin more sensitive, just shave really well before u go. don't pluck, you may end up with ingrown hairs. if your regretting it before u get it done don't do it. the only thing that would make a tattoo fade would be suntanning without sunscreen. ask around at a few tattoo shops for the rest of the questions. they can help with that most have done it all before.

When you get a tattoo, it there is any hair there, the tattoo artist will usually shave it off. So you might want to do him/her a favor, and shave it before you arrive.

I'm not sure what (if anything) it will do to the ink. Seeing as the ink is applied below the skin.

hey - i couldn't tell you for sure about your questions so i apologize for answering but not.... i would assume though that it would make your tat fade a little faster cause plucking etc pulls out a little skin in the process. but overall it most likely won't have a giant noticeable effect. i bet air and sun have a worse effect than hair management on tats.

ps ... i don't think youre a slut -- i think that's hot! wish i had the balls to get one ..haha im too much of a wimp

;-{{ "N"O"o.o`o,'e`.'!!?!! Well.. Ask in detail of any that also has ``a`` TaT`' in said area !!! Just keep in mind that IF it might itch for a long while !?! If not most of the rest of your life... Keep asking `round !! Because I'm thinking that waxing which`,ever area may just pretty much smother the area!! & your poor pores will not like it !! I'm willing to bet !!. "Let the area breath for the most~Part !! Wear mostly cotton !! it will let your skin breathe ~!!`'R"r,r`r.'.

you will be forever shaving or waxing it if you decide to go where the hair is, why not just move it over a little?

Wax first, your'e gonna get shaved anyway. You'll be fine. No, it won't fade much, it won't be exposed to much sunlight.
