If the camera has frozen and you change the batteries and it still happens, call Olympus and get repair information. If you take it back to where you got it they will either tell you to call Olympus or charge you more than Olympus will to fix it. They also have an exchange program.

Could it be a dead battery? Did you drop the camera?

Install new batteries and if that doesn't work take it back to where you bought it and have them send it for service. Since your camera was introduced in 2005 it may cost more to repair than to replace.

While you wait for the repair estimate you can begin shopping for a new camera - just in case.
