Fresh veg are better for you, but the problem is you dont know how fresh they are - they could have been on shelves for a few days. At least with frozen veg, most are frozen as they are picked so tend to be fresher.

Fresh vegetables are much better than frozen as they have more nutritional value. However frozen vegetables do last longer

On a recent episode of a program called "What's Good for You", they did a test and found there's absolutely no difference in nutrition and vitamins between frozen and fresh vegetables. I usually buy fresh vegetables whilst in season and cheap otherwise frozen vegetables. Cooking frozen vegetables in the microwave and leaving them "al-dente", a little crunchy will preserve their nutritious value as boiling can destroy these.

Frozen is best, as was correctly stated we do not know how long the "fresh" veg is out. Also that they are in the Supermarkets laid out under fluorescent lights that deplete the vitamins. Even milk in clear plastic containers should be avoided as the goodness too is depleting while its sitting waiting to be sold.

In some cases, yes. It is claimed that frozen peas, because they are frozen so quickly after harvesting, contain better vitamin content than those that are harvested and spend a day or two in travelling to the supermarket then waiting for you to buy them, get them home and shell/cook before eating them. Probably not quite as good as those you grow in your own garden, though.

Fresh vegetables are always better.Even under frozen condition some biological degradation happens.Frozen vegetables are more convenient, the lower cost will not help you as cooking will require more time, more energy consumption and cost.
