Do you mean rare as not common or rare in that if you found one they probably wouldn't accept you as a student anyway.
BURMESE BANDO is not a mainstrem martial art so I guess you could say it's rare.

watch the show the human weapon on the history channell. They search the world for all different fighting styles. plenty of rare striking styles from burma and other countries
