In a country where far too many citizens don't even know the number of states or can't point out the US on a world map, its no surprise that many people don't know that ***** is the technical term for a female dog. The word dog is specifically used for males, but is generally used when talking about all dogs, male or female.

Political correctness overturning the traditional use of a word in favour of it's vulgar use.

***** is the correct term for a female dog - any offensive use of the word is an insult to female dogs. I would never compare the two well behaved and loyal creatures I share my home with to a female human with an unpleasant personality ;-)
