Hey my name is Ashleigh
im 15 and i have been going out with my bf (hes nearly 17) for about a year and a half, and we are really really close.
A few days ago i was home alone so he stayed the night.
We were watching a movie and it was really nice, but he started getting really intimate, i was okay at first but after a while i fully freaked out.
I know he wasnt trying to hurt me or do anything bad like force me into anything, so i dont know why i was scared.
He said its okay but i still feel really bad, what should i do??

It sounds like he really cares about you. Accept his answer that "it's okay". That's the way it should be. It sounds like you need more time to be more intimate and that's normal, and okay. He should respect that (and it sounds like he does). Do not feel bad or guilty.

Okay, sweetheart, take a deep breath. The same thing happened to me at almost exactly the same age. In fact, a lot of things happened that both my boyfriend and I reacted in a way neither of us would have expected, and we still got married :-) Let me promise you something, if this guy really cares about you, it is more important to him to make you happy then to have sex. He wants to make you as happy as you want to make him happy. Hon, you were not scared that he would hurt you, you were probably scared to have sex. That makes you smart. Sex carries a lot of drama with it. It's a great thing, but you've got to be ready. Getting on birth control is probably a first great step to prepare, if you have not yet done so. There are no easy answers here, but be honest and share your thoughts. And, most importantly, DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP!! I can tell you are losing sleep over this.

Don't let anyone stay the nite. You should not have been able to make a decission like that.

Don't worry. Feeling bad about saying no happens to many. You can make it up to him somehow though. I'm sure you can figure something out.

If he really loves you, he will understand that you are just not ready yet. Just tell him that when you are ready, you want it to be with him., and he will feel better.

What you should do is not feel bad,you are too young to have sex, don't betray your parents' trust in you.
