From the time Joseph arrived in Egypt at age 17 to the time he stood before Pharaoh was 13 years.

Joseph first served in Potiphar's house for an unknown number of years. For the balance of the 13 years he was in prison. He was not in prison for exactly two years. He was in prison for at least two years. Those two years are the time between when he interpreted the cupbearer and baker's dreams until he stood before Pharaoh. We don't know how long he was in prison before that.

He had been in prison for some time when the cupbearer and the baker had their dreams... we're not sure how long--the Bible only says that it was "Some time later," when the two showed up in prison with him.
