He didn't confess to that. Did you listen to the tape of his questioning?

You don't have sex at the bar; you do it in private, go to a hotel. It is illegal to have sex in a public restroom, and that is what the guy was trying to do, what he confessed to.

The only way I can see Senator Craig having committed a crime, is if he was actually planning to have sex with the undercover cop right there in the public restroom. However, I don't see enough evidence for that. For all we know, he might have intended to take the guy to a hotel or something. The way I see it, asking another adult for sex isn't a crime as long as you don't use any threats or force.

Most folks go to the bathroom to remove extra material ... not take on a new load.

I then the answer is to creat a rest room, a sex room, and a bar ... all seperate .. then the politicians won't get so confused!

For one there are women at the Bar. Did you pick up the girl at the bathroom? I don't think so. Church and bathrooms. Priests and politicians. Yuk.

cuz its creepy. its not the same as having sex with someone you know in a bathroom. picking up a stranger in the next stall is creepy. not to mention not proper conduct for public officials. they get paid astronomical amounts they can be expected to give up lewd public perversions

I believe one is a socially acceptable domain for that type of activity while the other is not. When I'm sitting there in the stall, I'm there for a crap, not sex.
