It is well document fact that the Discovery Institute and it supporters are knowingly and intentionaly using lies to promote their agenda, raise funds and garner public support while shaping public opinion. How can this be a just thing for Christians to do.

It is all well documented in their own Guide the Wedge Strategy. Infact they have a written machievellian strategy.

The real question you should be asking, and I will do it for you, is why does a religious group have to lie to people to garner support? They were caught flat out in the Dover, PA. trial while under oath.

The Wedge Document outlines a public relations campaign meant to sway the opinion of the public, popular media, charitable funding agencies, and public policy makers. According to critics, the wedge document, more than any other Discovery Institute project, demonstrates the Institute's and intelligent design's political rather than scientific purpose.

The document sets forth the short-term and long-term goals with milestones for the intelligent design movement, with its governing goals stated in the opening paragraph:

"To defeat scientific materialism and its destructive moral, cultural, and political legacies"

"To replace materialistic explanations with the theistic understanding that nature and human beings are created by God"
There are three "wedge projects," referred to in the strategy as three phases designed to reach a governing goal:

Phase I: Scientific Research, Writing & Publicity,
Phase II: Publicity & Opinion-making, and
Phase III: Cultural Confrontation & Renewal.

Meanwhile - at 08:30 on a Monday Morning in the Christian Science lab of Downtown Jesusville.

ID'er A: How do we solve the mysteries of the universe?

ID'er B: OH, well God did it, He designed everthing.

ID'er A: That's Great! We can go home now, our work is done.

OK slow people:

A - The Discovery institute is a Christian Creationist group that has been operating in American for almost 30 years. They just keep changing the name because they had to remove Christ and God from the text.

B) Wikipedia is accesible source of information. If you want the real scoop - go get the actual document yourself like I did and read it from cover to cover like I did. Youcan also Read the by Dr. Barbara Forrest who testified in oppostition to the Behe and his ID group and proved they were lining by presenting evidence of fact in the form of their own documents. They were also publicluy reprimanded by the Judge for their behavior.
