...what incentive will they have to make things better in their own country? Won't they just continue coming here, without any end in sight?

Yes, they will. They will continue to come here in droves. They are already taxing our economy, the hospitals, the prisons, the welfare system, the social security administration, the police and fire departments, and our schools. They are NOT trying to assimilate into our society, they are trying to force us to assimilate to theirs. Illegal aliens are directly linked to the beginning of identity theft. They need social security numbers to gain employment, they are sold "our" SSN's so they can work, and we are paying a heavy price. Identity theft for one will not end until we close the borders and dry up the need for stolen ssn's. It's a real shame...

You are so right. There will be no end to illegals coming here, until our government, wakes up. Build the fence and start deporting.
My Mexican friend, said to me, " I love my country, it is beautiful, I wish I could take you there". If 20 million + people, feel the same and alot more that are sneaking in here, as I type this, why can't they start, standing up for themselves? Don't take the easy way out, stand up and fight for your own country, that you love.
I know, I will fight for my country, I Love.

That is a very good point. But you should understand that most of the people who immigrate illegally are poor and have no power.

You might say that they should organise and have protests and all that but in some countys that still is a way to get beaten and put in jail and sometimes disapeared.

And even if they are not afraid for their life many people are thinking of earning money for families and themselves not being dissidents.

I should point out that many of the countrys where things are illegals are coming from have had years and years of US govt policy and transnational corporations exploiting the people and harming the economy and environment. This is clearly not All the fault of the US because these countrys have corrupt and exploitative govts and rich and powerful people there who benefit from the troubles. But the US responsibility in it must be accepted.

What makes me mad, is during the Mayday protest, they should have been asking us for help to overthrow the Mexican government, instead of showing support of their "country" and attacking us. They maybe endangered in Mexico but THey are not in the US. Frankly I agree, I'm more worried about their overpopulation. If we let them in, it just encourage them to have more children. We can't solve the problem with population growth if we release the pressure of some of the problems. I know it's partly due to religion, but Our tax dollars shouldn't support someone elses religion.

I think what they do is they work here and send money back to their relatives since the dollar is much more valuable than their currency there so even they work in McDonalds here its the same as working as a Doctor over there. But yeah something has to be done about it. We can't just let our laws be violated like that.

Yes, they will. It's like the old saying give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish and he'll eat everyday! We aren't helping these people at all and they are certainly not helping us. They really need to learn to stand up for themselves in their own countries.

You know what.... I don't care.

As long as they are classified as illegal immigrants they are ILLEGAL. Period. Ship 'em back to their country.

If you don't like that stance, or don't like the laws, call your representative and try to get the laws changed, because until that happens, I don't care. Does that make me a mean bastard, maybe, but at least I'm not a hypocrite.
