Most religious people dont have an issue with stem cell research. This has been the far lefts way to make religious people seem heartless and fanatical. Most religious people have a problem using aborted fetuses stem cells. People donate their bodies and their organs all the time to science. How many religious people do you hear screaming about that? Hardly any. What the issue here is how ethical is it to use babies that were murdered by their own mothers for science, esp if that will somehow ease the guilty conscience of the mother. There is also the issue of disposing of embryos meant for in vitro for research.

So dont mix up the issue. I am very very much against using aborted stem cells on principle, but there are a lot of miscarriages everyday and since those were naturally occuring I have absolutely no problem using those stem cells for research. Most religious people wouldnt either.

Christianity is opposed to stem cell research to a great extent because a major source of the material used for study comes from aborted human fetuses, and Christianity predominantly opposes abortion. That's the big reason, and I doubt that will change any time soon.

And as long as science doesn't conflict directly with scripture, I see no harm in trusting its accuracy. Personally, I don't see the Big Bang as being in conflict with a literal 6-day creation week, but the answer gets kinda complicated.

..... You expect us to show favor towards what you advocate when you mock us? Personally I think stem cell research is a good thing. If ultimately many lives can be saved or pains reduced, I am willing to overlook the smaller negative aspects. Greater good, basically.

And its "Big Bang" not Big Band. Big Band is something else. I believe in the Big Bang. I don't believe in Evolution because sufficient proof has not been shown to me.
