Here's my husband's secret recipe:
One pound ground light meat turkey
1 bag bread cubes for stuffing
1 rib celery, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 egg, beaten.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Oil an 8 inch cast iron skillet.
Mix all of the ingredients and press into the skillet.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until crisp on top and cooked all the way thru.
Serve with turkey gravy and smashed potatoes.

Here is Grandma's Meatloaf...VERY yummy and easy to make. Much better than the ketchup on top varieties.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 onion, chopped
1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 egg

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, sausage, bread crumbs, onion, mushrooms, soup and egg. Mix together well and place in a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 50 minutes.

buy about 1 pound per 2-3 people of ground beef
for 1 pound beef mix together 2 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
mix all together in bowl and then form a meatloaf shape
place in backing dish that has been sprayed with nonstick spray and back for 20 minutes per pound on 375
you can also add chopped onions and bell peppers if you would like, but without is more plain
good luck! and have fun

You can actually use different ground meats to make a bigger meatloaf. Sometimes I use a pound of ground beef and a pound of ground chicken/turkey/pork or whatever is cheapest or on sale.

The standard is using chopped onions, breadcrumbs/crackers, eggs, and the meat.

Stick with that, but you could find an onion soup mix to put in, a dry ranch dressing mix, or even use your favorite BBQ sauce in it. I have also used A1 steak sauce in the mix.

mix hamburger, garlic, onions, egg and bread crumbs together. make it into a "loaf". put holes on the top of it with your finger to make then about 1/2 inch deep. Poor tomato sauce over it and cook it on 350 degrees for a while, depending on how big it is.

Wow! you have some great recipes here already, but if you really want a great one--pick one of these, but add 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 pork sausage. Instead of a full pound of ground beef. Really picks up the flavor!

I do it just like the 3rd person suggested, but i add in cheese in mine. If I'm feeling festive I use Mexican mixed cheese , but usually i just use American cheese you can use the slices if you don't have the mixed, but just make sure that you mix it in with the meat real good.
