Hey,

I lost my father to bone cancer last year, it was very quick as he had bone cancer in his knees hips, spinal cord and his left shoulder. the hospital gave him radiation treatment but that just made his bones weaker and eventually it gave him a heart condition.

I looked after my dad while he was sick and also when he was first diagnosed with Kidney cancer ( it turned into bone cancer 3 months later )
because my mother had walked out on us. ( us being me and dad )

and then she came back home, and wanted to know why i was still hanging around. I watched my dad die, and even tho its been a year my mom is blaming dads cancer on me..

even tho he died from the heart condition not the cancer itself.

And she has been saying this for a year now, and my sisters have turned on me, and they dont want to talk to me either.

Do you think that someone like me could give another person cancer and "make" them die from it?

No, you didn't give your Dad cancer. You also can't give anyone else cancer. It is sad that your mother is so bitter and trying to put the blame on you for his death. He would have died of the cancer, because once it has metastisized to the bone the next place it will go is to the brain, or from his heart condition even if you had not been there.

I had a friend who had renal (kidney) cancer.

It was treated - supposedly successfully.

A few years later, he developed a pain in his leg that the Dr didn't diagnose as bone cancer until the tumour weakened the bone enough to break.

By this time it had spread and treatment was unable to do more than slow the progress slightly.

The cancer weakened his body until he died, actual cause of death being heart failure.

You are a wonderful daughter to stay with your dad through the tough times and don't listen to anyone who says differently.

A person cannot "give" another person cancer.

You did not "make" your dad die.
