I would say lab and pit mix she does not look to have any boxer in her at all, you would be the best to determine if she is aggressive if you spent some time with her and if you don't see any while she is a puppy then it all depends on how she is raised Good Luck

Yeah, that dog is definately Not a Lab. She's adorable! and has ears like a lab. She could be mixed with something else. I have had a Lab and know tons of people who have them and they're all awesome, and good with small children. I don't think that agression would be a problem at all, if she is a lab mix, Lab's are sweeties. Try searching for an online dog encyclopedia or breed list. Most give info. about temperment, grooming, feeding, disposition, etc. and show pictures. Also if your planning on adopting the dog, call the shelter she is at and ask the staff questions, they may have made a typo, and not realized it. They should also have a pretty good idea of her disposition. Labs shed a LOT, some drool, and I've seen some that get quite large and larger breed dogs tend to develop hip problems as they age, that is why I had to have mine put down, he was a lab-golden retriever-mix. It might also be a good idea to call a vet with as much info about the dog as you can, as they can give you info about common health complications certain breeds are prone to.

She looks to me like a lab/pit mix. I have a pit/lab/rotwiller mix. I can tell you she is a wonderful very, very, very high energy dog. You can take her for a walk for an hour and then come home and she'll go find a ball and we'll play with that for another 30 minutes at least. She's wonderful no aggresion. She is however animal aggressive. She doesn't do well with small dogs like chiwawahs and cats or squirrels. That came natural. I'm sure though you can teach that dog whatever you wanted though. We have a rotwiller and they get along just fine. Thay are very smart!!!! My dog knows a bucket load of commands. Very easy to train. She is 2 and I just taught her a new command in a week. That's it. I will tell you that the pit in her will make her very needy like. Pits crave attention all the time! If you don't love on Lilly she will follow you around everywhere until you have time to love on her. No joke. I think you will love her. She's beautiful.

Lilly's mother is a rotwiller/lab mix and her dad is a full blooded pit.

they must have added a dog or something, cuz the 7th dog down is a taco bell dog. lol

but anyways, the 8th dog down is a lab, yep. look at those ears, those paws!

at any rate, I'd trust what shelter says she is, they have lots of experience at figuring this stuff out. to be sure, you could ask the vet.

she doesn't look very aggressive, labs generally are not. besides that, she's a pup, whether she will be agressive or not depends more on how you treat her, etc. genetics play a part, but how she is treated will play a larger part. if you are concerned she is or will be aggressive, be sure to ask at the shelter. they could certainly tell you their experience with her, and any info they may have about her before she got to the shelter. plus they may have tests they could have already given her or can give her to see what her temperment is like.

I agree with you -- although it is not the clearest picture -- she doesn't look more than maybe 33% lab -- possibly the other 66% are split between a German Shepherd and Pit Bull.

What about that adorable 3-year old terrier mix a few dogs down further, Impound # A3719584 ? If I lived in CA, I'd run to
take a look at her. Terriers are great companions; and with her being 3 years old, she is most likely housebroken and past all those puppy stages !!

Good luck !

There might be a little Lab,but I see either boxer or pitbull and maybe some shepherd. She's sure a cutie! As for the aggression worries, you need to be gentle but firm with her.Take her to puppy kindergarten classes to get her accustomed to other dogs, and then obedience classes at 6 months.Take her to the park, playground, wherever there are people,to expose her to all kinds of humans and their behaviour.Get her spayed when she is between 5 and 6 months old.Make sure she gets a LOT of exercise. If you see any problems arising, ask a trainer to help you ( this is why obedience classes are good - you will know a trainer to ask.) Socialization is the key to a calm ,well - balanced puppy.

Its possible, maybe with some shepherd or something too. Hard to tell.

Any dog that is not properly socialized and trained can be aggressive. Make sure you get her out and let her meet people, and see different things, hear different noises etc. Joining a puppy class is a good idea too.

With an unknown background its hard to tell which health problems may crop up. Labs are prone to hip dysplasia and blindness.

Good luck with your new pup, congrats, and thanks for giving a shelter dog a home.

I would say that the puppy is a lab-Pit Mix. She has the face of a pit bull. Shes extreamly Cute though !!! Contrary to what people say PittBulls are acctually very loving animals I had one when I was a little kid who went everywhere with me and slept with me. Since she is going to be a bigger dog just make sure you have enough time with her and she has a place to play/Run & that you give her alot of love and alot of chew toys so that she don't chew on other things

yeah, it's got Lab in it...but possibly mixed with Boxer or German Shepherd...it's really hard to tell with mixes....
Why would you be any more afraid of aggression if it's Lab than any other breed?
Labs are really one of the more gentler breeds with people as long as they are trained well. I've had Labs for years...and they have friendly, fun and compassionate personalities.
Cute pup....
Always adopt....

It looks just like my lab/pit mix that is sitting right here next to me. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole
