Last time I checked, the other 17 benchmarks were scattered all over the floor in Cheney's secret office, in the White House basement. By some gigantic (though hidden) Halliburton oversight costing the taxpayers billions, the benchmarks were sawed off balsa wood benches, and therefore not up to the rigors of a troop surge. While Mrs Cheney disapproves of their hidey hole being littered with sawdust, Mr Cheney stresses that the unique floor cover is great for cleaning up beer spills after White House parties. Also, any stray shot gun casings, which are black and green, can quickly be found amidst the piles of sawdust. Due to the fraternity house ambiance the stripper pole looks right at home,as does the two stall men's room.

I was curious about this and did some searching the other night. Here's as far as I got:
-- President's Address to the Nation
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/01/20070110-7.html
-- Fact Sheet: The New Way Forward in Iraq
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/01/20070110-3.html
-- Benchmarking Iraq for Disaster

Sorry it's not more, but I got sidetracked (it happens :-))
