If you have what is considered a "personal" quantity its a misdemeanor but if you are caught with a larger quantity, you will be considered a dealer, and then its a felony. I am not sure on the amounts.

It depends on the state and the amount. Less than an ounce is not a felony in most places as far as I know. A warrant is just something that is issued by a court for an arrest to be made or some other sort of order to be followed.

Possession of under one ounce is punishable by not more than one year in your state. An ounce is 28.9 grams. To violate probation in such a manner is a separate offense. Most likely your boyfriend will end up doing between 90 days and a year.

If the original offense was a misdemeanor then the probation violation should be a misdemeanor too.

In Denver anything under 1oz that is not packaged for resale is a 50.00 ticket if they want to write one. Most times if you are not behind the wheel, they dont do a thing. Over 1oz. and not in Denver is a different story. It can net you up to 10 years and a 25,000.00 fine. If you are worried the best thing you can do is call an attorney or move to Denver.

Depends on how much you have on you. If you have a lot, you can get nailed for distribution, which is a lot more serious than using for personal use.

depends on how much you're possessing, and if it's divided up into smaller packages (which would indicate trafficking) or not.
