How can I get my male 1-year-old cat to clean his nose?

My male cat will not clean his nose. My daughter usually picks his nose, but he tries to get away from her. There are black boogers at the sides of his nose and it is very gross.
How can I get my cat to clean his nose?

And yes, this is the same cat who can't bathe himself.

Try to clean it with a damp Q-Tip.One of my cats is white,and the dirt shows just around his nostrils,so I just clean it with a Q -Tip.It's not very easy for cats to get that area clean,because of the little creases.

This is gonna sound ind of mean but it will work. Take a squirt bottle of water and squirt his nose with it. He will want to clean the water off of himself and in the process he will clean his nose.
